Minecraft Server Java Version: Which One You Need
Minecraft 1.18 to 1.20.4 needs Java 17, 1.20.5 to 1.21.x needs Java 21, 26.1 and newer needs Java 25, and anything up to 1.16.5 needs Java 8.

Admins, Kicks and Bans on Your 7 Days to Die Server
The Players tab lists who is online and does the work for you. Behind it are the game's own commands, which you can also type in the Console tab.
Backups and Game Updates on a 7 Days to Die Server
Your server updates itself at every start. Your settings survive it because they live in a file Steam does not own. Your world needs a backup before a major version.
Blood Moon Lag and What Actually Fixes It
Horde night is a CPU problem, not a memory one. Turn down zombies alive at once, view distance and the blood moon count. Adding RAM will not help.
How to Connect to Your 7 Days to Die Server
Your address is the IP and port on the server page. In the game, open Join a Game, switch to Connect to IP, and type it in. Favourites keep it for next time.
Letting Console Players Join Your 7 Days to Die Server
Crossplay works, but only while the server meets every one of its conditions: anti-cheat on, no mods, eight slots or fewer, and a world no bigger than 8192.
Installing Mods on a 7 Days to Die Server
There is no mod store for this game. A mod is a folder you upload into Mods and a restart. XML mods reach your players on their own; code mods need anti-cheat off.
