How much RAM does a tModLoader server need?

Around 3GB for a few quality of life mods, and 4 to 6GB or more for big content mods like Calamity or Thorium. Very large modpacks with dozens of mods want 6GB and up.

Why can't my friends join my tModLoader server?

The server and every player must run the same mods at the same versions, or tModLoader blocks the connection to protect the world. Players download the mods in the Mod Browser, enable the same set in Manage Mods and click Reload Mods.
