Refer to earn

On a $10.00 first payment they pay $8.00 and you earn $1.60 when they're a new customer.

1. Joining

• Refer to earn is GuavaHost's affiliate program. It is free to join with any GuavaHost account, and there is no approval step. You don't need to own a server.
• You take part with your own account. One membership per person, and no second accounts.
• You are responsible for everything shared with your code and link.
• These terms apply together with GuavaHost's Terms of Service. You take part as an independent member, not as an employee, agent or partner of GuavaHost.

2. Your code and link

• You choose your own code: 4 to 16 letters or numbers, starting with a letter. Codes are not case sensitive. Your link is guavahost.com/r/ followed by your code.
• A code must not be, or be made to look like, an offensive word, GuavaHost or a staff title, another creator's or brand's name, or a discount claim (such as FREE or 50OFF). Codes are first come, first served, and some names are reserved.
• You can change your code once at any time after joining. After that, you can change it once every 30 days.
• When you change your code, the old one keeps working for 60 days with the same split. It then stops working and stays reserved to you for 12 months.
• GuavaHost may rename, pause or reassign a code, for example after a naming or trademark complaint, or if these terms are broken.

3. The split

• Each member has a 40% pool, split between your commission and the discount your audience gets. Each side is at least 10%. New members start at 20% commission and 20% discount.
• You can change your split at any time on the Refer to earn page. A change applies to new orders. Orders already placed keep the split they were placed with.
• 40% is the automatic maximum. If you believe your community deserves more, contact support and it can be arranged if we see fit. A custom deal is set by GuavaHost, shown on your Refer to earn page, and can be changed back to the standard split.

4. What earns commission

• You earn when someone new orders their first server with your code or link. You earn your commission percentage of what they pay on that order's first payment, after the discount and before tax, recorded in US dollars at the exchange rate of the day they pay.
• Commission is paid once per customer, on the first payment of a new customer's first order. Renewals and upgrades of the servers in that order don't pay commission, but they count toward your profit goals. Later orders don't pay commission and don't count toward goals.
• Anyone ordering with your code gets your discount on the first payment of their order, once per customer, on monthly or quarterly billing. Add-ons are not discounted. Existing customers can use your code too, but their orders don't earn commission and don't count toward your profit goals.
• Only one code applies to an order. If an order came through your link but used another GuavaHost code, such as a site-wide sale's, your commission is your pool minus that code's discount, never more than your own commission and never below zero.
• If someone follows more than one member's link, the last one they click in the 60 days before ordering gets the order. A code typed at checkout always wins. Each order counts for one member only.
• Only money actually paid counts. Amounts that are refunded, charged back or left unpaid don't earn commission.

5. Pending period and reversals

• New commission is pending for 30 days after the payment, in case of a refund or chargeback. After that it becomes available to withdraw, unless your membership is paused or the payment is disputed.
• Commission on an order that is refunded, charged back, cancelled or found to be fraudulent is removed. If it was already paid out, it is deducted from your future earnings.

6. Profit goals

• Profit from your referrals is what the new customers you referred have paid for the servers in their first order through you, renewals and upgrades included, minus your commission. Refunded or unpaid amounts don't count, and it doesn't take our server costs into account.
• Goals count profit once it is 30 days old. When that confirmed profit reaches a goal, its one-time bonus is added to your available balance. Each goal pays once.
• The goals (profit, then its bonus, in US dollars): $50 pays $2, $100 pays $3, $250 pays $7, $500 pays $15, $1,000 pays $30, $2,500 pays $75, $5,000 pays $150 and $10,000 pays $300.
• We may add goals at any time. We give 30 days' notice before lowering or removing a goal.

7. Payouts

• You can ask for a payout once your available balance is at least $10.00 (US dollars). A request is for your whole available balance, and you can have one open request at a time.
• You confirm each request with a code we email to your sign-in address, or with your authenticator app if you use one.
• Choose account credit or PayPal. We pay requests within 5 business days.
• Account credit is added to your GuavaHost account in your account's currency at the current exchange rate. It pays GuavaHost invoices only and can't be withdrawn or cashed out later.
• PayPal payouts are sent in US dollars. Any fee or currency conversion PayPal charges on your side is yours. PayPal payouts need you to be 18 or over, or to use a parent's PayPal account with their permission. Account credit works for everyone.
• We review each request by hand. If we reject one, your balance stays where it was and we tell you why. We may hold a payout while we check activity that looks like a breach of these terms.

8. Rules

• No self-referral: no orders through your own code or link, no second accounts, and nobody ordering for you.
• No coupon, deal or cashback sites.
• No paid search ads on the GuavaHost name.
• No other creator's or brand's name as your code.
• No spam or unsolicited messages, and no misleading claims about GuavaHost, our prices or your discount.
• Describe GuavaHost honestly, and say that you may earn from your code or link wherever the platform or the law requires it.
• If you break these rules, we may remove commission and bonuses, rename or pause your code, or end your membership.

9. Taxes

• You are responsible for reporting and paying any tax on what you earn from the program.

10. Changes

• We may change the program or these terms. We tell you in your account or by email before a change takes effect.
• A new version of these terms has to be accepted on the Refer to earn page before you can change your code or split or ask for a payout.
• A change to rates applies to new orders, never to commission you have already earned.

11. Leaving and ending a membership

• You can leave at any time on the Refer to earn page, unless a payout request is open. Your code and link stop working at once, and your code stays reserved to you.
• Leaving doesn't cancel what you've earned. Your balance and pending commission stay on your membership: rejoin to ask for a payout, or contact support.
• GuavaHost may pause or end a membership that breaks these terms or abuses the program. Commission and bonuses earned by breaking these terms are removed.
