Earn credit with the GuavaHost affiliate program

Join the GuavaHost affiliate program from your account, share your referral link and promo code, and earn account credit on referred orders.

The GuavaHost affiliate program (you may also hear it called the referral or partner program) lets you earn account credit by sending people our way. You get a personal referral link and your own promo code, your audience gets a discount, and you earn a percentage of what they pay on their first order. It is free to join from your account, with no approval step.

Joining

1. Sign in at guavahost.com/account. Any GuavaHost account can join, whether or not you have a server yet.
2. Open Affiliate program in the menu. The page is called Referrals & rewards.
3. Click Become an affiliate.
4. Read the affiliate program terms that open, tick I have read and agree to the GuavaHost affiliate program terms, and click Agree & join.

Your dashboard appears straight away with your referral link and promo code ready to share.

Your two ways to earn

Referral link. Your link looks like guavahost.com/ref/ followed by your affiliate number. When someone signs up through it and pays for their first order, you earn a percentage of that order as account credit. Use Copy next to the link to grab it.

Promo code. Your code is created for you automatically. When a customer enters it at checkout (under Have a promo code?, see Using a promo code), they get a discount and you earn a percentage of what they pay. If you would like a friendlier code, such as your channel name, ask our team to rename it, subject to availability.

Your exact rates are always on your dashboard. Under the referral link it shows the percentage you earn on each referred sale, and next to each promo code it shows Customers save (their discount) and You earn (your commission). Rates are set by GuavaHost and can change, but a change only applies to future orders, never ones already made.

What counts and what does not

• First paid order only. Commission is earned on a referred customer's first paid order. Renewals and later payments do not pay commission.
• Calculated on what they actually pay, after any discount and before tax.
• No self-referrals. You cannot earn on your own orders, and checkout will not accept your own code on your own account.
• Refunds reverse it. If a referred order is refunded, charged back, cancelled or found to be fraudulent, its commission is removed.

Reading your dashboard

• Available rewards: the balance you can request as a payout.
• Pending: commission from recent orders that have not cleared yet. It moves to available once the order clears.
• Withdrawn: what you have already been paid out.
• Link visits, Signups and Conversion rate: how many people followed your link, how many became customers, and the percentage between the two.
• Referral activity: each referred service or promo code sale, with the signup date, product, amount, your commission and a status of Pending, Confirmed or Cancelled.

Getting paid

Affiliate earnings are paid as GuavaHost account credit, which you can put toward your own servers. When credit is used, it shows as Credit applied on the invoice.

1. Build up your available balance. If a minimum applies, the dashboard shows it ("Reach ... in available balance to request a payout") with a progress bar.
2. Once you reach it, click Request payout.
3. The request goes to our team, who review it and add the balance to your account as credit.

If you already have a request open, the dashboard tells you so instead of sending another. Account credit cannot be transferred between accounts and has no cash value except as our payout policy provides.

Sharing it the right way

The terms you accept when you join spell out the rules. The short version:

• Describe GuavaHost honestly and do not promise things we have not.
• Say you may earn commission, or that you are a GuavaHost affiliate, wherever the platform or law requires that disclosure.
• Post on your own channels, videos, streams, communities and sites where the platform allows it.
• No spam or unsolicited bulk messages, no fake accounts or impersonating GuavaHost, and no bidding on GuavaHost brand terms in paid ads.
• No coupon sites listing your code as a public deal, and no tricks to generate commission artificially.

Breaking the rules can mean reversed commission and removal from the program. You can also leave the program at any time by contacting support.

Tips that actually help

• Pair the link with the code. The link tracks visits and signups, while the code works even when someone types our address in directly, which makes it the one to say out loud on a stream or in a video.
• Tell people which game you host with us, so they know which plan to pick on the games page.
