GuavaHost backs every new server with a 48-hour money-back guarantee, so if it is not right for you within two days of ordering, you can ask for a full refund.
What the guarantee covers
The idea is simple: try your server, and if it does not work out, you should not be stuck paying for it. The guarantee applies to new server orders and gives you a full refund of what you paid for that order, no hard feelings. There is nothing to activate and no promo code needed; the guarantee is on every new order automatically. It is there so you can test our hardware, our locations, and our panel with zero risk.
The 48-hour window
The clock starts when you place your order and your server goes live, which happens within seconds thanks to instant setup. You have 48 hours from that point to decide. As long as you reach out inside that window, you are covered. Wait until after two days and the guarantee no longer applies, though you still have other options, covered below.
How to request a refund
- Open a support ticket from guavahost.com/account, or ask in our Discord at discord.gg/GuavaHost.
- Tell us which server or invoice it is; the invoice number from Billing then My Invoices is perfect.
- Let us know briefly what did not work, if you are comfortable sharing. It is optional, but it helps us improve.
- The team processes the refund back to your original payment method, whether that was a card or PayPal.
Refunds return to where the money came from, so there is no separate payout to set up. Depending on your bank or PayPal, it can take a few days to appear on your statement.
A quick tip before you refund
Sometimes the thing that is bothering you is fixable in minutes. If your server feels laggy, is in the wrong region, or is short on memory, tell us before you ask for a refund:
- We can move your server to a different location (United States, Europe, United Kingdom, Poland, Australia, or our South America Miami node).
- You can raise your RAM at any time from the client area, with the change prorated.
- Our team is on Discord 24/7, usually replying within about 30 minutes.
After the 48 hours
If the window has closed, you are not out of options. You can downgrade your RAM to lower the cost, or cancel the server at the end of your current billing period so you keep what you paid for and it simply does not renew. Just open your service at guavahost.com/account to do either.
