Express checkout when you already have an account
Used Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link with an email that already has a GuavaHost account? Sign in when asked and the new server joins your account.

If you pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link and your wallet's email already belongs to a GuavaHost account, checkout asks you to sign in right after you approve the wallet payment. Nothing is charged until you do. Once you sign in, the new server is added to your existing account and the payment you approved pays for it.
Why you are asked to sign in
Anyone can type any email address into a wallet, so a matching email is not proof that the account is yours. GuavaHost never attaches an order to an existing account just because the email matches. Signing in with your password is what proves it, and it keeps anyone else from adding servers to (or reading details from) your account.
What you will see
- On the Account step of checkout, with New customer selected, you tap Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link in the Fast checkout box and approve the payment in your wallet.
- The wallet closes and the box changes to You already have a GuavaHost account. It explains that this email is already registered, and asks you to sign in to add the server to your account and pay with the wallet payment you just approved.
- Your wallet email is already filled in. Enter your GuavaHost password.
- Click Sign in and pay (the button shows the amount).
- You land on Payment received! with a note that we added this server to your GuavaHost account. Sign in as usual to manage it.
There is no password setup email in this case. You keep the password you already have, and the server appears under My services in your client area alongside your others.
Your account uses a different email from your wallet
The email box in the sign-in form can be edited. If your GuavaHost account is registered under a different address from the one your wallet shared, type your account email there instead, add your password, and click Sign in and pay. The server goes on the account you signed in to.
Other options in the sign-in box
- Forgot your password? opens the password reset page in a new tab, so you do not lose your place. Reset it, come back, and sign in. See Can't log in?.
- Use a different email closes the sign-in form. You can then tap your wallet button again and choose another email in the wallet, or fill in the account form below instead.
- Sign in with Google, Discord or GitHub. Those buttons work too, but they take you away to sign in and bring you back to the Pay step, so you will choose how to pay again. The wallet approval you already gave is not used.
Messages you might see
- "Those login details don't match an account." Check the email and password. If you see "Too many attempts. Please try again in a few minutes.", wait a little before trying again.
- "This account uses two-factor authentication." Sign in to your client area at guavahost.com/account first, then come back to checkout and pay on the Pay step.
- "Your account needs a few details first." Your account is missing a full name or country. Choose I have an account below the Fast checkout box and continue through the normal form, which asks for the missing details.
- "Your order is on your account and waiting for payment." The order was placed but the wallet payment did not complete. Tap your wallet button to pay it. Checkout stays locked to that one order in this tab, so you cannot accidentally place a second one.
- "We couldn't confirm your order." The connection dropped at the wrong moment. The message confirms the payment has not been charged. Check My services and Billing & invoices in your client area, or contact support, before trying again.
Prefer to skip the wallet?
You can also sign in the usual way. On the Account step choose I have an account, enter your email and password, then pay on the Pay step by card or PayPal. The card form there can also offer Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link when your browser supports them. If you signed in to your client area earlier in the same visit, checkout already knows who you are and shows Signed in on the Account step, with a link to switch to a different account.
Which currency you are charged in
Invoices on an existing account are billed in that account's currency. If you were browsing in a different currency, the total can change once your account is known. Checkout never charges a new amount silently: the wallet or the payment button shows the updated total, and you approve it before anything is taken. More in Which currency will I be charged in?.
New to GuavaHost?
If your wallet email is not registered with us, none of this applies. Fast checkout creates a new account and emails you a link to choose a password. See Pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link and Set your password after an express checkout.
