How GuavaHost Billing and Renewals Work
Your GuavaHost server runs on a recurring subscription, and everything about it, your invoices, your renewal date, and auto-renew, lives in your control panel at customer.guavahost.com.

How your billing cycle works
When you order, you pick a billing cycle (how often you pay, usually monthly). That start date becomes your renewal date, and your server keeps running for as long as the current period is paid up. A few days before each renewal, GuavaHost creates your next invoice automatically and emails it to you, so you always have time to pay before anything is due.
Your server goes live within seconds of your first payment thanks to instant setup, so the clock on your first billing period starts the day you order.
Where to find your invoices
- Go to customer.guavahost.com and sign in.
- Open Billing & invoices in the menu.
- Click View invoice on any invoice to see the line items, the amount, and the due date.
- Paid, unpaid, and cancelled invoices are all listed here, so this is your full payment history in one place. The All invoices, Unpaid, Paid and Other filters and the search box help you find one quickly.
Each invoice shows exactly which service it covers and the period it pays for, which is handy if you run more than one server.
Auto-renew and paying on time
When you pay by card (including Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link) or with PayPal, at checkout or in your control panel, that payment method is saved for renewals. Once a renewal invoice reaches its due date, GuavaHost charges it automatically, so your server never lapses. There is no separate page for managing saved payment methods: the card you most recently paid with is the one used, so to switch cards you simply pay an invoice with the new one. Prefer to pay by hand? That is fine too. Just open the unpaid invoice from Billing & invoices and pay it before the due date. To stop automatic charges, ask support to remove your saved card or PayPal. That does not cancel your server; it only stops the automatic charge, so remember to pay manually each cycle.
What happens if an invoice is not paid
Your server does not vanish the moment an invoice is due. GuavaHost sends payment reminders first, and only suspends the server after the invoice is overdue. A suspended server is paused, not deleted, so paying the overdue invoice brings it straight back online with all your files intact. If it stays unpaid well past the due date it is eventually terminated, so pay or reach out before that point if money is tight.
Where to see your renewal date
Your control panel shows it in a few places: Next renewal on the Overview, Renewal due on each server card under My servers, and Next renewal in each server's Manage your plan window (Manage plan in the server menu).
Changing what you pay for
Your plan is not locked in. From Manage plan in your server's menu you can:
- Upgrade or downgrade your RAM at any time with Change plan, with the difference prorated (you only pay for the time you actually use at each level).
- Look at paying less often with Billing cycle, which shows the exact price before anything changes. If switching is not available from the panel for your plan, it says so and support can switch it for you.
- Cancel a server you no longer need with Cancel plan, either at the end of the current period or right away.
Update your name, email and country under Account settings. To change the card used for renewals, pay your next invoice with the new card.
