Sign in with Google, Discord or GitHub
Use Google, Discord or GitHub to sign in to GuavaHost without a password, connect them to an existing account, and fix the common errors.

You can sign in to GuavaHost with your Google, Discord or GitHub account instead of typing a password. It works on the client area, at checkout and on the game panel, and you can connect all three to the same GuavaHost account. The one rule to know: if you already have a GuavaHost account with that email, you connect the provider from your account settings first.
Where the buttons are
The same three buttons (Google, Discord and GitHub) appear wherever you sign in:
- Client area sign-in at guavahost.com/account/login, above "or sign in with your email".
- Checkout, on the Account step, above "or fill in your details below". Your cart is saved while you are away and you come back to the Pay step with it restored, promo code included.
- Game panel sign-in at panel.guavahost.com, as Continue with Discord, Continue with Google and Continue with GitHub. See Logging in to the game panel.
Clicking one sends you to that provider to approve the sign-in, then straight back to GuavaHost.
First time: new to GuavaHost
If no GuavaHost account uses your provider's email yet, signing in creates one for you and links the provider to it. From then on, the same button signs you straight in.
A few things to expect:
- Your provider needs a verified email. GuavaHost only accepts an email the provider has confirmed. Otherwise you see a message asking you to verify it there first, or sign up with email instead.
- You may be asked for your name or country at checkout. Discord and GitHub often share only a username, and none of the providers share your country. Before your first order, checkout asks for whatever is missing (first name, last name and country), because they appear on your account and invoices.
- The account has no password of its own yet. That is fine while you use the button. If you would like to be able to sign in with email and password too, set one under Account settings in Password & security.
Already have a GuavaHost account?
For your safety, GuavaHost does not automatically join a provider to an existing account just because the email matches. If you try, you will see:
An account with this email already exists. Sign in with your password, then connect Google from your account settings.
(The message names whichever provider you used.) Here is how to connect it:
- Sign in at guavahost.com/account/login with your email and password. If you have forgotten it, use Forgot your password? (see Can't log in?).
- Open Account settings from the menu.
- Find the Connected sign-ins card. Each provider shows Connected or Not connected.
- Click Connect next to Google, Discord or GitHub and approve it with the provider.
- You come back to Account settings with the provider marked Connected.
When you connect from Account settings, the provider is attached to the account you are signed in to, even if your Google, Discord or GitHub email is different from your GuavaHost email. You can connect all three.
Removing a sign-in method
In Connected sign-ins, click Unlink next to the provider you want to remove.
If it is your only way to sign in (you have never set a password), GuavaHost will not let you lock yourself out. A Keep access to your account form appears asking for a New account password of at least 8 characters. Click Set password & remove, and from then on you sign in with your email and that password.
Discord sign-in vs the Discord community link
Account settings may also show a Discord community card with a Link Discord button. That is a separate feature: it gives you the customer role in the GuavaHost Discord server once you have an active service. Linking it does not let you sign in with Discord, and connecting Discord as a sign-in method does not give you the role. Use each for what you need.
Common messages

| You cancelled the sign-in | You closed or declined the provider's approval screen. Just try again. |
| Sign-in expired or could not be verified | The round trip took too long or the page was reopened. Start the sign-in again from the GuavaHost page. |
Staying safe
- Only start a sign-in from guavahost.com or panel.guavahost.com, and check you are on the real Google, Discord or GitHub page before approving.
- Signing in with a provider is only as safe as that provider account, so turn on two-step verification with Google, Discord and GitHub.
- Signed in on a shared computer? Open the menu at the bottom of the client area sidebar and choose Sign out, or Sign out of all devices to end every session at once.
