How to add your server in Minecraft Bedrock, and the one trap that catches almost everyone: the port field already has 19132 in it, and you must change it to your server's actual port.

Bedrock is the version of Minecraft that runs on phones, tablets, Windows and consoles. The panel is your web control panel, based on Pterodactyl, and it shows the details you need to connect.

Find your IP and port

  • Log in to the panel and open your server.
  • At the top of the server view you will see the server address as an IP and a port, for example 123.45.67.89:41000.
  • The part before the colon is the IP. The part after the colon is the port. You need both.

Add the server in Minecraft Bedrock

  • Open Minecraft.
  • Click Play, then open the Servers tab.
  • Scroll down and click Add Server.
  • In Server Name, type anything you like.
  • In Server Address, enter your IP only, without the port, for example 123.45.67.89.
  • Now the important bit. The Port field already has 19132 in it. That is the Bedrock default, and it is almost certainly not your port. Delete it and type the actual port from the panel, for example 41000. If you leave it as 19132, the server will not be found.
  • Click Save, then select your server and press Play.

Why the port matters so much

Minecraft fills in 19132 for you because that is the standard Bedrock port. On GuavaHost each server is assigned its own port so that many servers can share a machine. If you do not replace that default with the real port from the panel, Minecraft looks in the wrong place and reports the server as unavailable.

Troubleshooting

  • "Unable to connect to world": nine times out of ten the port is still set to 19132. Edit the server and set the port to the exact value from the panel.
  • Server shows as unavailable: check the IP is correct and that the server has finished starting. Open the Console tab and wait for the ready line.
  • It worked before and now will not connect: your port can change if the server is moved. Re-check the address at the top of the server view and update it in your server list.
