Over deze handleidingen

Twee verschillende dingen worden serverbeveiliging genoemd en ze hebben verschillende antwoorden nodig. Aanvallers van het netwerk weghouden is ons werk, en de handleiding over DDoS legt uit wat die bescherming doet en wat ze niet kan tegenhouden. Griefers uit je wereld houden, en je eigen account veilig houden, is waar deze handleidingen over gaan.

De praktische volgorde is: een sterk wachtwoord en aanmelden in twee stappen op je account, dan een whitelist of een wachtwoord op de server, dan rechten zodat je staf niet meer kan dan nodig is, en dan back-ups zodat een slechte dag een ongemak is in plaats van een verlies. Er is ook een handleiding over wat je doet als een server al is gegriefd.
