Sobre estas guías

Hay dos cosas distintas que se llaman seguridad del servidor y necesitan respuestas distintas. Mantener a los atacantes fuera de la red es nuestro trabajo, y la guía de DDoS explica qué hace esa protección y qué no puede evitar. Mantener a los griefers fuera de tu mundo, y tu propia cuenta a salvo, es de lo que se ocupan estas guías.

El orden práctico es: una contraseña fuerte y el inicio de sesión en dos pasos en tu cuenta, luego una whitelist o una contraseña en el servidor, luego los permisos para que tu equipo no pueda hacer más de lo que necesita, y luego copias de seguridad para que un mal día sea una molestia y no una pérdida.
