You cannot spin up a real Hytale server before the game exists, but you can get ready: understand what to expect, get on our notify list in Discord, and know exactly how you will deploy on day one.
An honest reality check
There is no Hytale server software yet, so there is genuinely nothing to install or technically "reserve" today. Be cautious with anyone selling a guaranteed live Hytale server before the game and its server tools exist. What you can do right now is prepare, so that when player-hosted Hytale servers are possible you are ready to deploy in minutes instead of starting from scratch.
How to get ready
- Join our Discord. The fastest way to hear the moment Hytale hosting opens is discord.gg/GuavaHost. We announce new game support there as it goes live, so you will not miss the early window.
- Learn the panel now. If you already run any game with us, spend a few minutes in the control panel. The Console, Files, Startup, Backups, and Schedules tabs work the same across every game, so the skills carry straight over to Hytale.
- Plan your group and region. Think about how many friends will play and where they are. GuavaHost has locations in the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, Poland, Australia, and South America on our Miami node, and you can change region later, so you can host close to your players from day one.
- Have a rough RAM plan. Sandbox worlds tend to want headroom. You pick RAM at checkout and can upgrade any time from guavahost.com/account with prorated billing, so start sensible and scale up as your world grows.
What day one will look like
When Hytale server support goes live on GuavaHost, deploying will follow the same path as every other game we host:
- Order your plan and choose your region and RAM at checkout.
- Your server sets up instantly and appears in your client area at guavahost.com/account.
- Open the game panel, set your world and server options on the Startup tab, and start the server from the Console.
- Copy the connect address from the top of your server view and share it with your group.
Because setup is instant and the panel will already be familiar, going from order to a running world is a matter of minutes.
What we will not promise
We will not put a date on Hytale, quote its exact requirements, or claim mod support before we can back it up, because the game is not out and its server tools are not public. When there is real, confirmed information, you will find honest setup guides right here in the help center. Until then, the Discord notify route above is the surest way to be first in line.
